Description of Duties
This is an important technical position in a public utility in which the incumbent is responsible for overseeing the daily work activities of the meter section. The incumbent is responsible for the maintenance and repair of electric meters as well as supervising the work schedule of Meter Testers and Meter Testers. The incumbent exercises lead supervision over Meter Repairers and Meter Readers. General supervision is received from the Superintendent Electric Operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the non-competitive class at the Fairport Municipal Commission and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twenty-four (24) months holding the position of Lineworker immediately preceding the date of the written test.
