Description of Duties
This is a management position located at the Department of Human Services responsible for the oversight of the Family Services unit of Child and Family Services. Duties involve performing administrative functions relating to family services including ensuring compliance to regulations, developing performance monitoring tools, overseeing non-investigative units and collaborating with staff in other units relating to areas such as finance and child protective. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of the Deputy Commissioner, Department of Human Services or other higher-level staff member with wide leeway allowed for the exercising of independent judgment when dealing with matters with a high consequence of error relating to family services. General supervision is exercised over Administrative Caseworkers.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class at the Monroe County Department of Human Services and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position of Administrative Caseworker.
