Description of Duties
This position in an Information Services Department or section is the highest level position in the Programmer Analyst hierarchy. This is a customer service position responsible for analyzing business procedures and implementing application solutions that involves developing or purchasing appropriate systems. This position differs from the lower, Programmer Analyst II, in that work is more administrative and project oriented. The employee reports directly to and works under the general supervision of the Project Coordinator. General supervision may be exercised over project teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class at a Monroe County Department and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position of Database Specialist or Information Services Business Analyst II immediately preceding the date of the written test.
