Description of Duties
This is a senior level position in the Department of Social Services responsible for reviewing and approving staff eligibility
determinations made for the subsidized day care program. The employee reviews income calculations, and completeness
of documents submitted for compliance with Federal, State and local regulations governing day care assistance
programs. General supervision is exercised over subordinate staff. The employee reports directly to and works under
general supervision of a higher level staff member.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class at a Monroe County Department of Human
Services and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position of
Eligibility Evaluator or Eligibility Evaluator - Bilingual immediately preceding the date of the written test.
