Description of Duties
This position, located in the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, is responsible for performing strategic analysis and facilitating the sharing of security information with law enforcement and homeland security partners in preventing, protecting and responding to crime and terrorism. The employee is part of an investigative operations center which is linked to the Rochester Threat Advisory Committee (ROCTAC) to share resources and analytical results with a diverse group of staff. The employee reports directly to and works under the general supervision of a Deputy Sheriff Road Patrol-Sergeant or other higher level staff member. Does related work as needed. Supervision is not a responsibility of this position.
Minimum Qualifications
PROPOSED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus:
(A) Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Intelligence Studies or Public Safety Administration plus one (1) year paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience in a law enforcement setting.
