Description of Duties
This is an administrative and professional position, responsible for directing, planning and coordinating the physical, occupational, and speech therapy rehabilitative services provided by Monroe Community Hospital. Responsibilities involve developing and implementing policies, procedures and standards for administration of these services. Work is conducted in accordance with state and federal licensing, regulatory and certifying agencies. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services. General supervision is exercised over a professional, technical and clerical staff. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed and currently registered by the New York State Education Department as either a Physical Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, or a Speech Pathologist PLUS five (5) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Pathologist.
