Description of Duties
This is a professional golfing position, located at the Monroe County Department of Parks, responsible for overseeing and participating in golf related activities at one of the following parks: Durand Eastman, Genesee Valley and Churchville Parks. Duties include providing golf lessons, golf repair, and advice to the public, handling public relations, overseeing the daily activities of a golf pro shop, restaurant and other related activities, and ensuring the public and staff conform to the rules and regulations of the assigned golf course. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of the Golf Services Manager or other higher level staff member. General supervision is exercised over seasonal laborers. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a Class ‘A’ or Class ‘AA” Professional Golf Association (PGA) of America qualified professional.
