Registered Nurse - Covid Vaccination (POD) - Temporary

Description of Duties
This is a professional nursing position involving responsibility for providing COVID vaccinations and clinical care to the public at a COVID vaccination Point of Dispensing (POD) location. General supervision is received from a senior level staff member. Direct supervision may be exercised over Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered school of nursing.
Effective immediately - Employees hired on or before October 7, 2021, will need to provide documentation of at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and promptly provide documentation of the second dose in accordance with the vaccine schedule, and employees hired on or after October 7, 2021 will need to provide documentation that they are fully vaccinated prior to commencing work, per New York State Department of Health mandate and County policy implementing that mandate.
