Description of Duties
This skilled position in the health care field is responsible for performing, planning and prioritizing patient lifts and patient repositioning for chronically ill and convalescent patients as requested by the assigned nursing staff or other personnel. The employee reports directly to and works under the direct supervision of a Nurse Manager or higher level staff member. Does related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma plus one (1) year paid full-time or its part-time equivalency experience in patient care in a hospital or long term care setting.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New York State Nursing Aide certification issued by the New York State Nurse Aide Registry.
A candidate needs to have received their primary COVID-19 vaccination series.
