This is a senior level technical position responsible for overseeing and participating in stormwater, industrial waste, and/or pollution prevention projects. This position differs from Industrial Waste Technician by virtue of scheduling field work, assigning staff, and providing lead supervision to crews on various project work. The employee must be able to move fifty (50) pounds. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of an Industrial Waste Engineer or other higher-level staff member. Lead supervision may be exercised over a technical staff.

Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class in the Monroe County Department of Environmental Services and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position of Industrial Waste Technician, Senior Pure Waters Technician, or Industrial Waste Assistant immediately preceding the date of the written test.
