Description of Duties
This is a technical position in the Department of Environmental Services, Division of Pure Waters, responsible for assisting with various activities relating to industrial waste control. Duties include public speaking, manual labor, report preparation, inputting data to a computer, sampling, household hazardous waste operations, or other duties related to the assignment. The employee must be able to move up to, and including, fifty (50) pounds. The employee reports directly to and works under the general supervision of a higher-level employee.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class in the Monroe County Department of Environmental Services and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twenty-four (24) months holding the position of Pure Waters Technician immediately preceding the date of the written test.
