Description of Duties
This is a senior level supervisory position responsible for overseeing a computerized inventory system for a large department or agency, Work involves planning, coordinating, implementing, and supervising inventory, operations, maintenance, purchasing and budget activities as related to warehousing activities. The employee reports directly to and works under the general direction of an administrative staff member. General supervision is exercised over a subordinate staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class in the Monroe County Department of Environmental Services and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position of Preventative Maintenance Coordinator or Inventory and Asset Control Specialist – Wastewater immediately preceding the date of the written test.
A combination of time served in multiple titles sufficient to meet the maximum period of required service is also qualifying.
