Description of Duties

This is an administrative secretarial position at Monroe Community College's Damon City Center responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to the Campus Administrator. The position works closely with, and acts on behalf of, the Administrator concerning established business procedures and confidential matters. The employee reports directly to and works under general supervision of the Administrator, with wide leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment. Supervision is not a responsibility of this class.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class at Monroe Community College and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position of Clerk I, Secretary I, or any other clerical or secretarial titles in salary group 10 immediately preceding the date of the written test.
 
A combination of time served in multiple titles sufficient to meet the maximum period of required service is also qualifying.
