Senior Clinical Systems Administrator

Description of Duties
This is a technical position at Monroe County’s Department of Information Services and is responsible for the management, training, evaluation and maintenance of clinical information systems at Monroe Community Hospital (MCH). Duties involve providing and managing hardware, software and end user support and training, account management and user access levels related to the electronic medical record system utilized by the MCH staff while ensuring emergency off-hours technical support is available. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of the Deputy Director of Information Services or other higher-level staff member. General supervision is exercised over Clinical Systems Administrators and other technical staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class in the Monroe County Department of Information Services and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position of Clinical Systems Administrator immediately preceding the date of the written test.
