Description of Duties
This is an administrative professional position in the Department of Environmental Services responsible for the technical oversight and supervision of wastewater collection, conveyance and treatment plant operations. General supervision is exercised over a professional and technical staff. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of the Director of Environmental Services with wide leeway for independent decision making.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class in the Monroe County Department of Environmental Services and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for twelve (12) months holding the position of Associate Engineer, Associate Engineer - Pure Waters or an Associate Engineer – Solid Waste immediately preceding the date of the written test.
