Description of Duties
This is a professional position involving the responsibility for evaluation, intake, investigation and supervision services at an advanced level for a local probation agency. Work is performed independently under the general supervision of a higher-ranking professional employee with more independence of action than Probation Officers. The class also differs from Probation Officer in that employees assist in the supervision of Probation Officers and/or supervise a special project.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be permanently employed in the competitive class in the Monroe County Department of Public Safety and must have served continuously on a permanent basis for forty-eight (48) months holding the position of Probation Officer immediately preceding the date of the written test.
